Clinical Animal Behaviourists
Do you need specialised veterinary input for a behaviour case? I work with clinical animal behaviourists who are accredited by the ABTC or CCAB, or registered as members of the APBC or FABC.
Please get written consent from your client and their referring vet before using this service.
How I can help you
Information Gathering
Before our discussion
I’ll thoroughly examine your patient’s medical history (including any test results), behaviour intake questionnaire, and, if available, your behavioural report. Videos of the patient’s gait and other relevant videos of the patient’s behaviour can also be reviewed.
Case Discussion
Online Video Call
A 60-minute online video consultation will allow us to discuss your patient’s case fully, or you can choose a 90-minute session if your client prefers to be present as well. This can include discussing any possible medical issues and the use of relevant medications.
Plan of Action
Written Reports
I’ll provide a summary report of our discussion, along with any recommendations for your client. An additional report detailing any suggestions for medications or investigations will be sent to the client’s referring vet.
Keeping Connected
Ongoing Support
I’ll continue to liaise with you and your client’s referring vet during the 3 months following the consultation. This will be by email. Further (chargeable) consultations can be booked if required.
