Compassionate Behavioural Care for Your Pets

I’m here to help you with any behavioural challenges your dog or cat may be experiencing, whether it’s a specific concern or something more complex. I can also help if you have more than one pet in your household and things feel a little overwhelming.

I work closely with you, your family, and your primary care vet to understand what’s driving your pet’s behaviour and to find a way forward that feels manageable and kind for everyone involved.

Common Cat Behaviour Issues

  • Aggression towards people or other animals.
  • Not using the litter tray.
  • Urine spraying.
  • Fighting between cats.
  • Cystitis or blocked bladder problems.
  • Overgrooming.

The issues listed above are just some of the more common ones I see, but many pets experience a mix of behavioural issues or more general anxieties and fears. Whatever your situation, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Below, you’ll find an outline of what to expect when you choose to work with me. If you’d like to talk things through before booking, you’re very welcome to contact me here or via WhatsApp.

First steps

Contact me

Reach out via my contact form or WhatsApp. As I work on a referral-only basis, I’ll ask for your vet’s details so I can request your pet’s medical history.

Information gathering

Before our first consultation

I review your pet’s medical history and your completed questionnaire — plus any video clips you share, which really help me see what’s happening at home.

Exploring the issues

First consultation

Our first session lasts around 2 hours, in person or online. Together we explore what’s going on and start shaping a realistic, supportive plan.

Plan of action

Behaviour report

You’ll receive a bespoke report setting out the likely causes and a personalised treatment plan — which may include environmental changes, training, nutrition, supplements or medication.

Updating your vet

Vet report

Your vet receives a summary of our consultation and the treatment plan, and I keep them updated throughout.

Ongoing Care

Monitoring progress

Behaviour change takes time. I provide ongoing support to track progress, celebrate wins and adjust the plan as we go.

I encourage you to stay in touch while we work together so that I can monitor your progress. Success really does rely on the hard work you put in, but I’m here to help.

Need additional guidance or support?

Sometimes a little extra help makes all the difference. Once your package is underway, you may find you’d like more time to continue to work through things together, or some extra hands-on support in person. Both can be added whenever you need them — so you can take things at the pace that feels right for you and your pet.

Add-on Consultations

If you’d simply like more time, additional consultations are an easy way to continue your support once your package comes to an end. They can be taken in the three months following your package, and are ideal if you’re making good progress and would value keeping that going as we continue working through things together.

Additional In-person Training

If you’d like a little more help, additional in-person training offers hands-on support to keep building on the progress we’ve made together. These sessions can be taken at any point during your package, or within three months of it ending. As both a veterinary behaviourist and a qualified dog trainer, I bring both sides together. Each one-hour session draws on your pet’s medical history, emotional needs, and the plan we’ve already created.

Support designed around you and your pet

No two pets — or families — are the same. Your plan is created entirely around you: clear explanations of what’s happening and why, with video examples where they help, written summaries to refer back to, and monitoring diaries to track progress along the way. Plus additional training and help where you need it. I shape it all to suit you and your pet, giving you professional and compassionate support from start to finish.

Whatever you and your pet are facing, you don’t have to work it out alone. When you’re ready, I’m here to help you find a way forward that feels manageable and kind.
